​What was originally planned to be a renovation project turned into the construction of a new Tates Creek High School to replace the existing school. The construction includes a 358,018 sf new high school building which includes a tornado shelter in the basement as well as a 9,544 sf Fieldhouse including batting cages, public toilettes, and concessions for the softball and baseball program.
